1. Overview
These Repair Service Terms & Conditions apply to repair and technical services requested through ITSource.in ("ITSource", "we", "us" or "our"). By submitting a repair request, you acknowledge these terms and agree to provide accurate information required to deliver the service.
2. Repair Request & Booking
A repair request submitted through our website is a service request and may require confirmation before work begins. Customers should provide accurate name, mobile number, email, device details, issue description and preferred service method.
A ticket number may be generated for tracking the repair request.
3. Device Inspection & Diagnosis
The actual fault, repair requirement and parts required may only be determined after technical inspection. Information provided by the customer before inspection is treated as an initial description of the issue.
Diagnosis, inspection or repair recommendations may change after the device is examined.
4. Repair Services
5. Repair Estimate & Approval
Where an estimate is required, repair work involving additional cost may proceed only after appropriate customer approval. The final cost may depend on the actual fault, parts, labour and work required.
If the customer does not approve a proposed repair, applicable inspection, diagnosis, pickup or other charges, if any, may still apply where previously communicated.
6. Replacement Parts
Repair may require replacement parts. Parts may be genuine, compatible or equivalent parts depending on availability and the repair option agreed with the customer.
Part availability can affect repair timelines.
7. Customer Data & Backup
Customers are strongly advised to back up important files before submitting a device for repair. Where reasonably possible, customers should remove confidential information, passwords, accounts and removable storage that are not required for diagnosis.
8. Passwords & Access
Some repairs may require access to the operating system, BIOS/UEFI or device settings for testing. Customers should provide only the access information reasonably required for the requested service and should change passwords after service where appropriate.
9. Pre-Existing Damage
Customers should disclose known physical damage, liquid exposure, previous repair attempts, missing parts, broken hinges, cracked screens or other relevant conditions before service.
Existing damage may affect diagnosis, repairability, safety and final cost.
10. Pickup & Drop Service
Pickup and drop availability depends on service area, scheduling and operational capacity. Customers should pack and hand over the device as instructed and ensure that personal accessories not required for the repair are removed.
Any special pickup or delivery condition communicated for the specific request will apply to that request.
11. On-Site Service
On-site service is subject to service-area availability and technician scheduling. Certain repairs may not be suitable for on-site completion and may require workshop diagnosis or additional handling.
12. Walk-In Service
Customers choosing walk-in service may bring the device to the designated service location during applicable service hours. Acceptance and completion time depend on workload, device condition, diagnosis and parts availability.
13. Repair Timeline
Estimated completion dates are indicative. Delays may occur due to parts availability, additional faults discovered during diagnosis, supplier delays, customer approvals, holidays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
14. Payment for Repair
Applicable repair charges should be paid according to the payment instructions provided by ITSource.in. Additional work or parts requiring customer approval may result in an updated estimate.
15. Repair Warranty
Where a repair warranty is offered, its duration and coverage may depend on the specific repair and parts used. Warranty generally applies only to the repaired issue or covered replacement part and does not automatically cover unrelated faults or new damage.
For product warranties, see our Warranty Policy.
16. Exclusions
Repair or service coverage may exclude damage caused by liquid, physical impact, electrical surge, misuse, improper installation, unauthorised modification, tampering, malware, data loss or other conditions unrelated to the agreed repair.
17. Unrepairable Devices
Some devices may be determined to be uneconomical, unsafe or technically unsuitable for repair. In such cases, ITSource.in may communicate the diagnosis and available options to the customer.
18. Unclaimed Devices
Customers should collect completed devices within the timeframe communicated by ITSource.in. Storage or handling conditions may apply to devices that remain uncollected for an extended period.
19. Cancellation of Repair
Repair cancellation requests are subject to the stage of service. If diagnosis, repair, parts ordering, pickup or other work has already started, cancellation may be subject to applicable charges or conditions.
Please see our Cancellation Policy for general cancellation information.
20. Customer Responsibility
