1. Overview
ITSource.in ("ITSource", "we", "us" or "our") provides warranty coverage only where a warranty is specifically stated for the product or service. Warranty terms may vary by product, seller, manufacturer and category.
2. Warranty Period
The warranty period is the period specifically mentioned on the applicable product page, invoice, warranty information or other applicable documentation.
Warranty begins according to the applicable purchase or delivery terms for that product.
3. What the Warranty Covers
Unless a product listing states otherwise, an eligible warranty generally covers manufacturing defects or covered functional failures occurring during the stated warranty period under normal intended use.
4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
- Physical damage, cracks, broken connectors, bent pins or damaged ports.
- Liquid, moisture, corrosion or accidental damage.
- Damage caused by electrical surge, incorrect voltage or improper installation.
- Burn marks, overheating caused by external factors or misuse.
- Unauthorised repair, modification, tampering or alteration.
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic deterioration that does not affect intended function.
- Damage caused by incompatible components, accessories or software where applicable.
- Lost, removed, altered or unreadable serial numbers or warranty labels.
- Data loss, software files or personal information stored on a device.
5. Product-Specific Warranty
Some products may have special warranty conditions. For example, storage devices, batteries, chargers, RAM, accessories and other IT components may have different warranty periods or claim procedures.
The warranty information shown for the specific product should be treated as the primary product-specific reference.
6. Warranty Claim Process
To request warranty assistance:
- Keep your Order ID or invoice available.
- Contact ITSource.in using the registered contact details.
- Describe the issue clearly and provide photographs, videos or other evidence if requested.
- Follow the troubleshooting or inspection instructions provided by support.
- If a return or inspection is approved, follow the provided shipping or service instructions.
7. Inspection & Verification
A warranty claim may require inspection or testing to determine whether the reported issue is covered. Warranty approval is subject to verification of the product condition, serial number and applicable warranty terms.
If inspection determines that the issue is outside warranty coverage, the customer may be informed of available paid repair or replacement options where applicable.
8. Replacement or Repair
For an approved warranty claim, the resolution may include repair, replacement of a defective component, replacement of the product or another appropriate remedy, depending on the product, availability and applicable warranty terms.
A replacement product may be the same model or an equivalent product where the original model is unavailable, subject to applicable conditions.
9. Warranty Shipping
Where a warranty return is approved, shipping arrangements and responsibility may depend on the product, reason for the claim and applicable warranty terms. Customers should not send products without following the return instructions provided by ITSource.in.
10. Data & Backup Responsibility
Customers must back up important data before sending a device or storage product for inspection or warranty service. ITSource.in is not responsible for loss of data, applications, files or personal information during warranty inspection, repair or replacement.
11. Warranty for Repair Services
Where a separate repair warranty is provided, it applies according to the specific repair terms communicated for that service. A repair warranty generally covers the repaired issue or covered replacement part and does not automatically cover unrelated faults or subsequent damage.
See our Repair Service Terms & Conditions.
12. Warranty and Returns
A product return and a warranty claim are not always the same process. Depending on the circumstances and applicable product terms, an issue may be handled under the Return & Refund Policy or the applicable Warranty Policy.
See our Return & Refund Policy for return-related conditions.
13. Warranty Void Conditions
Warranty may be refused or become inapplicable where examination shows unauthorised modification, tampering, physical or liquid damage, misuse, incorrect installation, removed identification labels or another excluded condition, subject to applicable law.
14. Policy Updates
We may update this Warranty Policy when products, services, warranty arrangements or applicable requirements change. The latest version published on this page will apply to future warranty requests, subject to applicable law.
